You are special!
You are distinguished
from others by a unique unusual quality. You’re the only one like you the
master created. There isn’t another in this world that can do the things you do
or exhibit the same traits as you. He created you differently and specially,
shaped with all the requirements you need to glow in life. Right before you
were conceived, He had great plans for you, He took His time to mark out every
detail about you and how He wants you.
You see, the beauty
of the world lies in our differences, our different ideas, thoughts, plans,
innovations, purposes, and lives. You were created to function differently from
others, made for a special mandate.
Your friends and
family might not give you the support you seek, they might continuously compare
you with others, the circumstances of your birth may be a bad or an unplanned
one to the eyes of men, the situations surrendering your life may be
disheartening but listen to what God has to say to you.
You’re my masterpiece,
You’re my own work,
You’re not an accident,
You are my delight,
You are my treasure,
My perfect creation, so beautiful in my
sight,
You are my very own project,
Before I formed you, I knew you,
I created you for a reason,
You were wonderfully made by no one but
me,
You are for my glory and no one
else’s’,
The world may not
appreciate you but I am fond of you.
You don’t need to imitate anyone, God wants
you to exhibit your own specialties.
“The difference between you and everyone else
is everyone else, and that’s a lot, so you should feel special.” Jorod Kintz.
Hear this, you can’t
achieve anything in life by being a conformist. You become nothing when you
choose to become everything everyone wants you to be. You are only free and
complete when you are yourself.
Ask yourself, would I
have been created if there was a ‘Me’ already? God made you be you so that a
new potential be released to the world. It is your duty to find your potential
and set it free.
We are all different
beings with different talents, we are all shaped with different abilities. The
fact that I write doesn't mean you must write. You don't need to worry about or
covet abilities you don't have, doing so is like forcing a peg into a round
hole. It's like a lawyer trying to perform surgery - It would only yield
fruitless results. Your difference with other people is what makes you unique.
That's why there is a ‘You.
Trying to covet
abilities is rejecting what God has given you. The Bible tells us, "What
right have you a human being to cross-examine God? The pot has no right to say
to the potter: Why did you make me this shape?"
Your shape was
sovereignly determined by God for His purpose, so you shouldn't resent it or
reject it. God doesn't make junk. He made you special, you are not a mistake,
you’re perfect in His eyes and you’re the best for your role here on earth.
"You are
altogether beautiful, my love; there is no flaw in you." Song of Solomon 4:7.
Beloved, you’re
extraordinary, your uniqueness is a scientific fact of life. Do you know that
no one has the same fingerprint or tongue-print like you?
The fact that you are
an introvert or an extrovert wasn't a mistake, slim or fat, tall or average
height, rich or poor, black or white doesn't make anyone better than you. They
may be good at singing while you’re good at dancing- Thus, complementing
yourselves. If everything and everyone was the same, no one would notice the
extreme beauty of God's work.
“Everybody is a
genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live
its whole life believing that it is stupid.” Albert Einstein.
Who you are, and
everything that you were created with, wasn't a mistake but a divine
arrangement.
So 'Yes'
you are special, if no one tells you so, then tell yourself because God made
you special, beautiful and wonderful. If any voice tells you otherwise then
know that it is the voice of the enemy. And your response should be “I have
something to offer, I have a potential yet to be seen by the world, I am unique
and I am with a difference. God made me special and so I am.”
